I'm Lucio Ciccarone, a wedding photographer based in Puglia, Italy. For years I've been telling travel stories, love stories, life stories — always looking for the same moment: the one where people stop posing and start actually living what's happening.

My work has been awarded several times at the Wedisson Wedding Awards, the international platform that gathers and honours the best wedding photographs in the world each year — 13 awards that I keep with the same care I use to choose every single frame.

My approach is unobtrusive — I would rather observe than direct. The best photographs, to me, are the ones nobody saw coming: a glance, a held-back laugh, a detail that would otherwise have been lost.

I work exclusively on weddings: it is the only way I know to truly get to know the couple in front of me and tell their story without skimming the surface, across both photography and short films of the day itself.
